Cover Conversations: Revealing Inheritance by Christopher Paolini

The end is near! The wait for the final Inheritance Cycle novel is nearly over. Random House and Christopher Paolini released the cover, title and official publication date of the final Eragon novel last night.

Inheritence by Christopher Paolini
Not so very long ago, Eragon—Shadeslayer, Dragon Rider—was nothing more than a poor farm boy, and his dragon, Saphira, only a blue stone in the forest. Now the fate of an entire civilization rests on their shoulders.
Long months of training and battle have brought victories and hope, but they have also brought heartbreaking loss. And still, the real battle lies ahead: they must confront Galbatorix. When they do, they will have to be strong enough to defeat him. And if they cannot, no one can. There will be no second chances.

The Rider and his dragon have come further than anyone dared to hope. But can they topple the evil king and restore justice to Alagaƫsia? And if so, at what cost?
This is the much-anticipated, astonishing conclusion to the worldwide bestselling Inheritance cycle. -

  1. Green? Not a fan of green. Love the illustrations on all the books- and the colours from the first three blue, scarlet, gold... all seemed really imperial and classic.... but green? Earth, growth, forests maybe? A green dragon from the final egg? There is another egg isn't there? Well I'm probably just thinking too much about colour... Anyway I can't wait for the story to come out! What will happen??? We've all been waiting for the final instalment!

  2. I think there is another egg, but who can say? I'm waiting until October to reread the first three books.
With a green egg that get the real solid combination of colours. Think of them as compass colours: blue (water), scarlet (fire), gold (air) and green (earth). It must mean something...or not.
